Roman General Gaius Marius, one of Rome's many Generals!
I am Julius Neptune, a very well-known Roman Biographer who will share with you all about the research I've been conducting. I will be telling the tales about Gaius Marius. As someone who dedicates his life to his historical work, I will assure you that the facts will be whole. I have traveled far and wide throughout the lands to gain information about all history and making sure that the facts are valid, engulfing myself as if I was in experiencing history. I am very passionate about my work, have many discoveries with valid evidence.
Gaius Marius was on of the many Roman generals that maned the armies leading to several victories but also many defeats. He was a great general although like history repeats itself many generals do fall and have their flaws at times throughout his years of being a general. Yet, despite some flaws in his strategy and leading he was still a very proficient leader when it came to manning a army. He also didn't have such an easy right of passage where he had to dealt with much adversity though his life time with rivals and other kingdoms. Gaius Marius was a very trust worthy person not only by the people of the senate but the general public too as they all put their trust in him.
In the next couple of pages I am going to present to you all a biography of General Gaius Marius on his decorated life time as a general, and his many accomplishments, strategies, lifestyle, and recruitment of men to join the army.
This is a sculpture called the Bust of Gaius Marius in Glyptothek Museum in Munich Germany.
